Sometimes it says that my password had expired, so I type in my old password and get the option to create a new password. I enter a new password but then it just wipes what I wrote and asks again for a new 06kingranch. This may have already been posted or documented but I thought the only way to restart the Z10 (other than a battery pull) was to press both volume buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds. It turns out that you can also restart the Z10 by holding down the lock button on the top of the phone for a few seconds and then tapping Step 7: Once done, same as before, right-click, rename and change it back to .bbb Step 8: That's it, it's now ready to restore onto your device. Not sure if this is your problem, but if you're concerned about mismatched OS versions screwing up Link (impossible I know) then give this a go and see if the restore works. Best of luck to ya
